THANKS TO EVERYBODY !

Yesterday, August 16th, was my birthday.
I celebrated with a thanksgiving service in church and after church.
As usual, there were a lot of pleasant surprises for me from my family and friends. Thanks to you all , for a wonderful and delightful birthday weekend!
Recieve my appreciation for your presence and support; for the phone calls and texts messages, the gifts , flowers , cards , cakes and especially for your prayers and fellowship.
How can I ever repay you for your love and goodwill?

Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs.Brian Adrian Lee- Carter on your wedding day , in July.
This is the couple's 3-tier wedding cake which I had the honour of making.
It is a rich fruit cake; the 3 tiers covered with layers of blue,pink and white fondant paste. Each tier is separated by a circle of large fuchsia and light pink chrysanthemums. Clusters of flower and boa feathers decorate the cake top and side of cake base.

Balloon Flowers

FANTASY DAISIES
These balloon designs are ideal as decorations for walls and pillars, or as attachments to balloon garlands and floating balloon clusters. They are popular designs for children parties and other celebrations or even as home decor to liven up the walls.
How to make balloon Daisies.
To make this design , I used a balloon sizer , balloon pump and 5" Qualatex balloons in gold, dark blue, orange
and green colours and 260Q
balloons.
Method:
1. Inflate 5" balloons to 3" size. Make 5 gold, 1 dark blue , six orange and three green balloons.

2. Use gold balloons to make a round cluster of 5 and attach blue in the center to form a 5- petal daisie.
3. Make a round cluster of of 6 orange balloons. Attach a cluster of 3 green in their center .
4. Use 260Q balloons to form bows and attach to daisies.

Balloon Fantasy Flowers

Balloon Fantasy flowers come in simple and intricate designs, depending on the requirements for the occasion. Roses, lilies , fuchsia tulips and orchids can be made with balloons .
Basically , in balloon artistry, precision and symmetry enhance the beauty of the design .Well-designed balloon decorations do add glamour to a venue when they stand alone or are made into bouquets for table or wall decorations.
How to make a Balloon Fantasy Rose .

For this design you will need:
1.Set of at least a dozen 11" red latex balloons.
2. 2 dozens 18" floral wire.
3. Floral tape.
4.A packet of 260Q balloons in assorted colours.
5 A packet of leaf-green 8" baloons
METHOD
Bend wire into two and inset into one 11" balloon .
Stretch balloon to base of bent wire and tape balloon base firmly to wire.

Bend wire in balloon to form rose petal as in picture.

Make six petals.
To form the centre bud for rose, roll 2 11" red balloons together and snip off their tops. Place in centre of petals and tape them together to form a rose.

Use 260Q balloons to make curly- wurlys in yellow , navy blue , red and cream colours and balloon ribbons and twirls to match fantasy roses.

Chocolate Sandwich Cake
This piece is made of two 8 inches round layers of dark chocolate sandwich cakes filled with white chocolate.
The cake is covered with dark chocolate icing. To decorate the cake top,cover with white chocolate icing. Make two piped chocolate roses ; using stiff
dark chocolate icing. Then decorate by making swirls with chocolate chips and place the two roses in the centre .
Put finishing touches on cake by piping with white chocolate icing;
the "Fleur-de-lis" design around the top with a No. 5 tube and inverted shells around the base.




Strawberry and Cream Gateau
This excellent dessert is an 8 inches Victoria Sandwich cake filled with fresh straw berries and White Creme filing.
It is covered with soft butter cream and topped with fresh straw berries.
Almost missed not taking a photo of this one because it was reduced to mere crumbs,under 30 minutes after it was decorated !

Strawberry and Cream Victoria Sandwich Cake

This is a strawberry and cream sandwich cake .
It is the Jammed SPIDER NUTTER !
The cake is sandwiched wih almond-flavoured whipped cream icing and seedless strawberry jam.
It is covered with not-too-soft butter cream and then the cake side is rolled in a mixtute of grated pieces of pecan nuts,Brazil nuts,pitted dates, almonds, pistacchios and grated dried peaches and pears.
The cake top is decocarated with a spider web design made of white glace icing and strawberry jam ;encircled by piped pink butter cream shells.
